well, there are a couple reasons. first and foremost, ole Caroline convinced me to go to the pet adoption. these little guys are so doggone cute that you can't just leave them there. i saw (help us name him!), and i just had to have him. we weighed the pros and the cons, and we voted yes on saving (help us name him!) from foster care and brining him into our family. now we just need to get this, these and this, pick him up, and he's ours!
ah, the million dollar question, and the reason i made this site. we need your help to come up with a new name for (help us name him!). in his nine months, he's been both ripley and barkley, but we're not huge on those, so we're changing it again, and we'll work through the identity issues later in his life. we've been through a slew of names, but it's your turn to help us out. what's that name you've always thought would be perfect for a dog?
sure! we're big fans of choosing a name wisely. here's what wikipedia has to say about the breed: "The Pointer should be athletic and graceful. The immediate impression should be of a compact, hard-driving hunting dog, alert and 'ready to go.' The primary distinguishing features of this breed are the head, feet, and tail." And here's what the foster mom has to say: "(help us name him!) is a happy, busy boy as well as a handsome one with a face that's hard to resist. He's got plenty of energy, as you'd expect from a teenage pointer and he'd make a terrific running partner, followed by a terrific snoozing partner."
